Dr. Leahy joined Elizabeth Family Health in 2000. A native of Utica, NY, he attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska prior to earning his medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned honors in endocrinology, physiology and neuropathology.
Urged to come to Colorado by a fellow medical student, Dr. Leahy completed his residency at Community Hospital / Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver. He was awarded Family Medicine Resident of the Year 1988-1989.
Dr. Leahy is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, Colorado Medical Society and Colorado Osteopathic Medical Society.
With his wife Julie, Dr. Leahy enjoys family time, Colorado and sports. They especially enjoy watching their two sons, Connor and Trevor, play hockey.
